Wall hangings are one of my favorite ways to add color and interest to a room.  Below are two pieces, both made on canvas stretched across wooden frames.  They are made from a variety of media, including paper, ribbon, print, flowers - in fact anything that inspires me at the time.  Finally, each piece is sealed with matt varnish, protecting it from dust and moisture.  I usually hang these without frames as the work continues onto the sides too.

This is a piece I made for my sister's daughter. She had twin girls on November 4th, 2008. They asked if they could name one of them Lyla, after our little one.
